  New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association

The NZPFGA is an association of registered guides who commit themselves to a high level of service and standards. Each member guide is vetted for experience and competence before being accepted as a member and is subject to rigorous Complaints and Disputes procedure.

The constitution of the NZPFGA contains a very stringent code of ethics, taking in sound fishing practice and the laws of New Zealand. It also ensures that no personal preference of guide interfere with the clients' success or enjoyment. When you fish with one of the Association's guides in either saltwater or freshwater, you are automatically protected against any misconduct or unlawful or unsafe practice by this constitution.
